AppXite Joins Aries Global

I’m pleased to share that AppXite has joined Aries Global, a software group that partners with founder-led B2B platforms across Europe and North America. Specifically, Aries Global Software Ltd. has acquired a controlling stake in AppXite, thus giving AppXite long-term backing to scale internationally and continue investing in the platform you rely on today.

What this means for our partners

  • AppXite continues to operate under the same brand and leadership.

  • There will be no transfer, delegation, or assignment of any duties or obligations under your existing agreements, in whole or in part, as a result of this change of control.

  • Your products, services, contractual terms, and points of contact remain unchanged.

  • Our business together will continue without any changes or interruption.

  • We will continue investing in the platform to support subscription and usage-based services across complex channel environments.

Platform Updates

Greater Control Over Commercial Risk

New Credit Risk Management capabilities give distributors and sellers greater control over commercial risk while keeping sales moving smoothly. With Credit Risk Profiles, Offer Restrictions, and Credit Limit Approvals working together, partners can tailor which offers, commitments, and billing options are available based on risk level - ensuring customers only see compliant, low-risk purchasing options.

This helps prevent unintended billing setups, reduces exposure to long-term or unsupported commitments, and enables proactive review of high-value transactions before fulfillment. The result is fewer payment defaults, improved cash-flow predictability, and the confidence to support larger or higher-risk deals without adding friction to everyday business.

Microsoft Extended Service Terms for Expiring NCE Subscriptions

Effective January 19, 2026, Microsoft is changing how non-renewed subscriptions behave at expiration. To support this update, the AppXite platform is introducing support for Microsoft’s Extended Service Term (EST) model, enabling CSPs to maintain service continuity and ensure accurate billing for expiring NCE subscriptions.

Effective April 1, 2026, when subscriptions are not renewed, customers can renew, cancel at end of term, or transition to an EST—separate SKUs priced at the standard monthly rate plus a 3% uplift and cancellable at any time with prorated billing.

This update enables distributors, sellers, and direct CSPs to manage post-expiration usage more predictably, avoid unexpected service disruption, and proactively guide customers through renewal decisions while aligning ongoing consumption with Microsoft’s updated commercial terms.

Prevent Failed Subscription Orders with Microsoft POR Validation

The platform introduces Microsoft Partner of Record (POR) validation to help distributors and indirect resellers prepare for Microsoft enforcement and reduce order failures. A new Validate button allows users to check a reseller’s PLA ID (formerly MPN ID) in real time using Microsoft’s POR API during seller onboarding and contract management.

This enables partners to identify invalid reseller configurations early, prevent failed subscription orders and changes, and make informed decisions when supporting existing subscriptions, improving compliance readiness and operational efficiency ahead of POR enforcement.
