Aries Global Acquires AppXite to Accelerate the Future of Modern Channel Commerce

London / Riga –  January 13, 2026 – Aries Global has acquired a majority stake in AppXite, a B2B SaaS platform built to support digital marketplaces, CPQ, and subscription and usage-based billing across complex, multi-tier channels. Atea, a leading IT infrastructure and services company, will remain a large minority shareholder and strategic partner following the transaction.

The acquisition comes as distributors, telcos, MSPs, and software vendors shift towards subscription, consumption-based, and AI-driven commercial models, placing increasing strain on pricing, provisioning, and billing systems that were never designed for this level of complexity.

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Riga, Latvia, AppXite enables distributors, telcos, MSPs, and software vendors to build and monetise as-a-service offerings at scale. Its platform unifies marketplace management, pricing, provisioning, and billing, allowing partners to sell multi-vendor cloud, SaaS, and AI offerings through a single, automated quote-to-cash workflow.

AppXite is trusted by global distributors, vendors, and service providers including Atea, Lenovo, ScanSource, and Copaco, managing around €1 billion in third-party revenue across multi-vendor and multi-market environments.

Michael Mitterlehner, CEO of Aries Global, said:
"AppXite has quietly built market-leading capabilities to manage the massive complexity of modern channel commerce. We are excited to now bring this differentiated offering to more enterprise clients internationally and further accelerate the capability build out to underpin how modern cloud and AI services are sold.”

Carl-Johan Hultenheim, COO of Atea, commented:
“AppXite has been a critical platform in enabling Atea to package and monetise complex, multi-vendor as-a-service offerings across markets. We see Aries as a strong long-term partner with the ambition and capability to support AppXite’s continued development and unleash the platform’s full potential.”

Nicolas Albana, CEO of AppXite, added:
"Billing infrastructure for cloud, SaaS and AI is becoming as critical as payments infrastructure was for e-commerce. Distributors, telcos, MSPs and ISVs are all racing to monetise subscription and consumption-based services, but most are stuck with systems built for a different era. We've built the platform that handles the complexity they're running into, whether usage-based pricing, multi-vendor reconciliation and multi-tier revenue sharing across borders. Bringing Aries in gives us the capital, reach, and ambition to establish AppXite as the global standard for technology ecosystem billing."

Why Aries Is Excited by AppXite

AppXite was built to support organisations that sell through partners and marketplaces rather than directly to end customers. Its platform addresses the practical realities of modern channel commerce, where services are sold across multiple vendors, partner tiers, and markets under subscription and usage-based pricing models.
  • Purpose-built for complex channels: AppXite supports multi-tier partner models, advanced pricing structures, and cross-border billing requirements that distributors, telcos, and MSPs deal with in day-to-day operations.
  • Deep hyperscaler and Microsoft CSP capabilities: Native support for Microsoft CSP workflows and marketplace integrations helps organisations manage cloud commerce in a compliant and operationally sound way.
  • Designed for subscription and usage-based monetisation: Flexible pricing and billing capabilities support recurring, consumption-based, and emerging AI-enabled services without relying on manual processes.
  • Proven enterprise adoption: AppXite is already embedded in the commercial operations of global distributors and service providers, where reliability, retention, and operational stability matter.

What’s Next

As part of Aries Global, AppXite will continue to operate under its existing brand and leadership, with a focus on:

  • International expansion in channel markets
  • Strengthening indirect CSP and marketplace capabilities
  • Enabling selective cross-sell through AppXite’s multi-vendor catalog
  • Continued investment in billing automation, analytics, and enterprise-grade reliability
