The role involves continuous monitoring of Microsoft program updates, assessing their impact on AppXite, resellers, and customers, and proactively communicating changes and guidance to all stakeholders. The Licensing Specialist will also own the maintenance of Microsoft-related documentation and knowledge, ensuring it is always up to date, accessible, and well structured.
Your Responsibilities & Mission
- Maintain 100% accuracy in registering customer information and data related to Microsoft programs. This includes having perfect knowledge of every product's price, eligibility, and combinations, as well as the relationships between AppXite's platform, resellers, and Microsoft's incentive/benefit structures.
- Develop deep expertise on every detail of Microsoft's partner programs. This means being an absolute subject matter expert on all Microsoft documentation, incentive structures, specializations, and program changes.
- Closely monitor all Microsoft communications, news, and program updates to identify any impacts. This requires constantly reviewing Microsoft's website, newsletters, webinars, etc. to stay on top of any changes that could affect AppXite, its resellers, or customers.
- Ensure all Microsoft-related documentation and knowledge is kept up-to-date and easily accessible. This involves using AI and knowledge management tools to organize and maintain a comprehensive, searchable repository of all relevant information.
- Proactively communicate changes and impacts to internal teams, resellers, and customers. Announcements and guidance must be provided to all affected parties to ensure they are informed of any Microsoft-related updates or requirements.
- Pursue and claim all eligible Microsoft funds and incentives.
Your Qualification, Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft licensing, partner programs, or cloud commerce, preferably within a CSP, distributor, ISV, or MSP environment.
- Proven experience managing customer and partner data with zero-tolerance for errors, including pricing, eligibility, incentives, and program compliance.
- Deep, practical knowledge of Microsoft Partner Programs, including (but not limited to): CSP (Direct / Indirect); Incentives, rebates, and benefit structures; Specializations, designations, and eligibility rules.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft product portfolios, pricing models, licensing combinations, and program dependencies.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex Microsoft documentation, policies, and frequent program changes without ambiguity.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain 100% accuracy across customer registrations, licensing data, and program-related records.
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools, knowledge management systems, or automation platforms to organize, search, and maintain complex information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to:
Proactively communicate program changes, risks, and opportunities;
Produce clear announcements, guidelines, and instructional materials.
